Heh, since I have a few minutes before I head out, I thought I'd relate an interesting story that just happened to me a bit earlier.

So I was at work tonight, helping to serve dinner at Tunstall. At the end of the evening I went to empty the salad bar, but somehow in the process (don't ask) I managed to drop a pan full of ranch dressing into the cooler portion, below where the food usually sits. Small problem.

I run to the back and grab a bunch of cleaning rags. When I get back, I discover something strange has happened. The ranch has frozen solid in the short couple of minutes that it was sitting there. Now I have a large problem. Because of this I spend the next 20 minutes or so running boiling hot rags back and forth, attempting to heat it up enough that it would melt, and then quickly scooping it up and running back to the sink. In hindsight I'm amazed that I got it cleaned up as quickly as I did.

Well, that's about all of the unusual stories that I have to tell. I finally got another battery for my bike, so I'm back on the road, which is very nice. I missed the road. And quite possibly a lot of fun things may be going on this Friday/Saturday/Sunday, so I should be keeping busy this weekend. Even if I'm not busy, there's always homework ^_^

Seriously though, if I'm not too busy this weekend, I'm thinking about biking (as in bicycle) over to People's Pond and going for a swim for a while. I've heard some interesting stories about that lake, but hopefully they aren't too true. If they are...well, the Yakima river isn't that much farther away. It can't be that cold this time of year. Good times.

All right, and now I'm off to watch movies with some AKPsi brothers, since they surprised me earlier and demanded my presence. Maybe if I'm lucky I can get them to watch some anime. Heh, here's to hoping.
